Accessibility Statement

Important information should be usable by the people who need it.

Last updated September 2026

That is the whole point of Lejacie, so it applies to our own website too. We want lejacie.com, our publications and our resources to be usable and understandable for everyone, whatever their vision, hearing, mobility, cognitive load, language or technology.

1. Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

2. How we design for it

In line with the 4:47pm Test, we design for people under real conditions: tired, busy, on a phone or short on time.

  • Clear structure. Headings, short sections and plain language, without losing accuracy.
  • Readable type and colour. Plain, legible type, no italics for emphasis, and strong colour contrast.
  • Screen readers. Clean, structured page code and text descriptions for meaningful images.
  • Keyboard access. Every link, button and form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • No distracting motion. No flashing, no autoplaying video, and reduced motion for people who ask their device for it.
  • Language awareness. We design with interpreters and people using English as an additional language in mind.

3. Known limitations

Some PDFs, diagrams and older documents may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If anything is hard to use, we will provide it in another format, such as plain text, an accessible Word document or an audio overview.

4. Tell us

If you find a barrier or need something in another format:

  • Email: accessibility@lejacie.com
  • Contact form: lejacie.com/contact

We aim to respond within two business days.
